1826 U.S. Eagle Breast Plate dug by William "Bill" Gavin, the first person to use a metal detector to find artifacts.  Model 1826 U.S. Breast Plate was excavated at Confederate trenches, Ewell's Corp, in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.  Letter of Authenticity from previous owner is included with the artifact.
